Weight Loss Thread 2014

My diet for the last 2 days
Future Life in the morning.
(2 Bananas) or an (apple and orange) for lunch.
and some chicken strips for dinner.

I throw in an occasional Provita and smoked mussel every now and then during the course of the day.

Going good so far.

Dude you should get some protein in with every meal :)
 
I've been eating normally the last couple days, but avoiding sugar.

Rather miraculously, I haven't had a drink in 6 days, which always leads to a quick loss of a couple of KG's. The problem is, not drinking makes me insanely, RAVENOUSLY hungry all the time, and I figure at this stage trying to stop the drinking is more important than eating a bit extra.

A series of small steps, rather than one huge effort, which takes one small moment of weakness to mess up, is how I am going to try this I think.

How long are you planning on keeping this up? A diet like this will lead me a to a crash of note!

I've started small by trying to avoid sodas and doing food prep on Sundays so I can avoid fast food when working late. We'll see how long it lasts. If I can keep it up I'll work on portion control.
 
Well the chicken provides the protein, and it digests slow, I have a slow metabolism so I guess it helps take away the feeling of eating at times.

Im doing this up until Friday, then I need to make some Potjie 'cos its been a while...:whistle:

Finally had the guts to take some before pics of my gut this morning :D

I am still summoning up the courage to do the same.

I weighed myself yesterday, and was 80 KG. This morning 83 KG.

Is such a large discrepancy normal?

Digital scale, and the lighter day I had eaten already unlike today.

Weird.

2 to 3 kg is nothing unusual, various factors can influence weight at any given point in time
