Weight Loss Thread 2014

Is it just me getting older(25) or is it this LCHF diet causing me to have no alcohol tolerance whatsoever?

In my student days I would drink a bottle of brandy and THEN go out, nowadays 3 GnT's and I'm off my face...

Definitely something to do with the LCHF diet. It seems common from what I've read.

That's a pain, would've been much more useful back in the day when I wanted to get drunk. These days I'm actually enjoying my drinks and would prefer not to get plastered after a nice dinner and good wine:/

Yeah I seldom drink these days following this diet but when I do want some wine it goes straight to my head.

Well, I definitely know I can't handle as much.. Back in the day if I knew it was going to be a big night, might stomach would get lined properly beforehand :p

No progress here for a week?

I'm still losing weight when I check on the gym scale, but I don't go to the tracker every day so I don't get those which I used on my updates and original stats.

Into my second week of my breakfast shake and it is going well:
  • Half cup oats
  • 1 scoop whey protein
  • Half of a banana
  • 1.5 cups water

Blend that stuff up and drink with a flaxseed oil pill and I'm good to go :D

I'm still on track... Progress was terrrrrrrrrribly slow from 12% to 10% and has slowed down even more

Flip man, I want 10-12% then I would finally be able to have abs :D

I reckon if I stick with the eating plan I should be able to get to 12% end of May, going to Swaziland end of the month and the food there is too good to eat right

Still going strong here, I just don't have a scale at the moment, so no idea what I weigh.

Had a bit of a blip a week ago (some alcohol, one variety of which was full of sugar, and this made me feel so terrible, it's even easier to continue now).

Will be standing on the scale tomorrow for the first time in 6 weeks including a 4 week vacation... I am almost afraid of the damages but the signs are impossible to ignore :o

Guys I broke the 90kg barrier!! I am now sitting on 88kg....so happy, will definitely be reaching my goal of 80kg...might even go to a nice 75kg :D

Awesome koeks!

And no koek to celebrate! You can have some wors instead :D

Congrats !!

You determined (lucky) fish... keep it up.

Thanks a lot :D I will be sure to reach at least 80kg by the end of this year (that was my goal), but I think I will reach that in 2 - 3 months time at most. Hahaha, cakes cost a lot of money...so I will have to settle for wors :D

My belly is almost disappeared!! It is there, but it was not as bad anymore :D

Ag now I need to get my clothes altered again...the jeans got too baggy...can shirts even be altered...I don't think so :(

Been disciplined like a mofo for a while now, thinking of having a blowout weekend.

I miss mutton curry bunnies :(

Just leave them unaltered, and wear them like battle-scars or military medals, but with that Leonardo Di Caprio swagger!
