Weight Loss Thread 2014

Just come from gym. I am so happy!!! I am now 102Kg!!!

I am so close to breaking the 100kg barrier, and having a 2 digit weight!!! Im gonna gym my ass off this week!! :D

1. Ketosis is a natural state that everybody enters into
2. Yes you can rapidly lose weight and not muscle, what are you complaining about?
3. Be lazy? Quite the opposite, I feel fantastic and get more work done!

I think I want to start the ketosis diet? Is there a link on the foods and all in it?

There's probably a good chance that the small print says 'only effective when used in conjunction with a healthy diet, regular exercise and lifestyle change'

Umm ...yeah, I was one of the suckers who bought those vibrating machines when they first came out :o Paid R 3000, sold it for R500.
 
That spike really shows how bad New Years is (had a healthy Christmas)... back on track though. :D

Today so far has been a fatty smoothie with mixed berries for breakfast, Salami sticks for snacks, chicken mixed with cauliflower mash and pumpkin on the side and tonight it will be a nice fatty pork chop with some veggies.

Ok, so Ive had the chops and the veggies, but later we were invited over to friends where Ive had 2 glasses of dry white wine and some pieces of boerewors and salad. I guess its all about making the correct choices - leave the beer for wine, take the salad not the chips etc.

It's all about the correct choices, if you're going to drink wine take red over white and limit it to 1 glass if possible.
 
What's with all the spanner throwing?

The main thing for me and I think for many from the 2013 thread is that there is an awareness that life style change is required, so it's about changing your approach to nutrition and not the traditional approach to dieting per se.

I'll comment later once I've had a chance to watch the video

Because there is a belief that diets are the ultimate solution to weight loss. Weight loss and management is a lifestyle choice. There is no silver bullet.
