Weight Loss Thread 2014

I'm also starting today.

Height - 1.81
Weight - 115

Goal
Loose belly and go down to at least 95 by 30 March. So that's roughly 10 weeks for 20kg's.

What I will be doing
I have already started drinking less coffee and less sugar. Cutting out all fizzy drinks and beer. This will be replaced by water.
I don't eat a lot of bread, so that's a win already.
Meat will be baked or grilled and not fried.
Joining a gym tonight to do start cardio. I'm very very unfit.
I currently only eat ProNutro for breakfast without adding sugar(I know it contains sugar already) Your thoughts on ProNutro or what suggestions are there as an alternative that is quick and easy as ProNutro?

Fry your meat in butter or Olive oil, dump the cereal for breakfast and switch to eggs
 
Ok I think I will try and make meatza on Thursday.

Make sure you have enough cheese, and add in some jalapeno.

I made one recently that was so tasty.. Left it in the oven to cool, forgot about it and had to throw it out the next day :(

Pronutro is now full of genetically modified maize and other nasties so avoid.
 
OMB,

I tested my urinary ketones before I took 2 tablespoons of upgraded mct and I was in light ketosis. 3 hours later and I just tested again and am in deep ketosis.
 
It's amazing, I ate early this morning, and was only hungry again around five. I had a piece of cloudbread with cheese, and now I am probably fine until tomorrow. :wtf:

The test strip has three colour patches... I consider the first light, and the second deep for me. I don't go into the third darkest block unless I fast for a few days. I'm going to continue using the upgraded mct for a few days, and then I'll switch to brain octane, and see if there is any difference.

I ignored the warning on the bottle to start with one teaspoon and build up and dove straight in with two tablespoons, so I expect my stomach to be unimpressed later. Dave Asprey (bulletproof exec) calls it "disaster pants". LOL. :whistle:

Awesome hey. I usually only end up eating in the afternoon, with the exception of (non-BP) coffee.

@ 78.8KG today, first time in a long while I've been under 79!

Madness.

Bought 1.5 KG of various animal fats from Fruit @ Veg, cost me R6.50, hehe. Going to render it down for cooking fat!
