Weight Loss Thread 2014

Can't believe how many pounds I picked up since Dec 1, 2013. :(

Today is day one. Never reached my target last year. This year I will and it will be by July :)

Also normally I scoff at any pills that "aid" weight loss, but after much reading I'm trying out some Green Coffee Bean extract to give things a boost. This is over and above my eating plan and gyming.

Well, dunno what happened today. Went for my usual Monday afternoon workout and felt soooo drained and tired. :) I sucked, I know you get your off days...but damn I struggled. Not sure if its just a bad day...or I'm not getting enough fat? Hadnt had any carbs today at all though...maybe that was the problem, as you meant o have 50g a day. Ah well...hope tomorrow is better...

/facepalm

in 2 weeks they lost less than a kg? sounds like more marketing crap

Used Cream of Tartar, from the baking goods section of Spar.

They are kind of like savoury meringues as they come out of the oven (I had mine with coconut oil and cheese). I am curious what the consistency will be like tomorrow once they cool.

Soooooooo I put on around 3kg last month, was expecting something like that, but anyhow bygones, time to knuckle down again. :(

Guys is there significant difference between brown rice and normal rice? My dad was recommended this, by a dietician.

Gonna sip on some green tea now.

Hopefully by then end of this week I will break the 100kg line [that is my weight at the moment]

They usually recommend brown because its GI is lower than white, and because it has extra nutrients.
BUT brown rice has a lot of "anti nutrients" along with those nutrients...
It's a double edged sword.

I choose white rice because I don't eat starch for the nutrients, I eat it purely for the insulin spike, and would prefer not to eat the anti nutrients in brown.
