Weight Loss Thread 2014

Today is the first time in over 2 weeks that I had cereal for breakfast, as I was running so late.
I had Weetbix, with milk and 2 tsp sugar... That's 58g of net-carbs! Just for breakfast...
I won't be doing that again in a hurry.

I had a tablespoon of MCT oil for breakfast this morning. Not the most tasty of brekkies I must say. All the butter and bacon and fat getting to me a bit at this stage. I am rather lazy with trying all the recipes though and I have become so used to my Wheatbix in the morning.

All in all the LCHF diet is working for me though. I miss my fruit juice though and cannot find any real reason for not having Coke Zero.

Branflakes with cream not to bad as it has lots of fibre which you can subtract from the carbs, add a boiled egg on the side and it's a complete brekkie.

I'd rather eat cardboard

Cardboard with butter is really not bad. In fact I'd eat anything with butter :D

This morning was bulletproof butter tea with 2 tablespoons of Brain Octane (36 tablespoons worth of C10 MCTs from coconut oil!)

Lunch was more butter tea and hamburger patties with rolls made out of butter lol :D

It could have been worked out on BMI instead of bf%... Either way LCHF.

BMI is such utter rubbish, once a long time ago, I had a body fat percentage of 15%, was training hard and weighed one of the least weights I ever weighed, with very little muscle to speak of and my BMI indicated that I was still over weight WTF???

I think he was just saying the scale could be wrong in calling me overfat, depending on how the scale decides what overfat is.

BMI has its uses. I wouldn't rely on it as a only measure.

As googoodoll said, the scale just says overfat, it doesn't say why, whether it's using BMI or bf% or something else or a combination or criteria.

Although possibly the manual might say.

So my semi-good eating and intense exercise for 5weeks made me lose 7kg's! Need to lose 9kg's to achieve goal

Started the year off with the pursuit of ketosis. 10KG down. A great many to go.

Well, I made the revolutionary bread.

It's delicious, just didn't rise much.

made some last night, mine nearly climbed out of the bread pan, it's nice and light and I was really expecting something quite dense
