Weight Loss Thread 2014

so my fat intake was roughly as follows:
  • avo almost every day
  • salad drenched with olive oil almost every day
  • plain yoghurt in the mornings
  • yesterday the bacon with lots of fat and eggs fried in left over bacon fat
  • mashed cauliflower with about 100g of butter
  • fat on steak(although it was quite a lean piece)
  • half&half in coffee twice a day
  • all other veggies made in butter

That's plenty fat, if you've properly cut out carbs then you're just switching...

thanks for the feedback! I was amazed how easy it is to cut out carbs. I know it's still early days, but I can totally see myself eating like this in the long run

Edit: the only thing I am really going to miss is beer....

It's wonderfully easy, you'll be amazed how much less you eat...

Beer is fairly terrible for LCHF but it's my cheat, if you're really well behaved then you can get 3 beers in and stay under 50g of carbs for the day(5 castle lights!!!)

don't we all

I allow myself one weekend a month where I'll have maybe 4 :D

Weight is staying off, but I've been feeling a bit icky - I have a feeling I haven't been eating enough healthy vegetables.

Been drinking quite a bit of coffee with milk, and it seems to have caused a couple skin blemishes on my face. Will stop the milk completely and see if that's causing an issue.

Been having slight cravings for carbs recently, for the first time. It's annoying.

At the risk of being crucified, it might be time for a carbo refeed.

Sincere question here:

06:00 - Coffee

08:00 - Coffee

10:00 - Coffee + 20 mg Diazepam, 25 mg seroquel

12:00 - 500ml water

14:00 - 500ml water

15:00 - 500ml water

16:00 - 500ml water +20 mg Diazepam, 25 mg seroquel

Like i said this is a sincere question!

Whoa...!

Don't know what happened last night but this morning I felt I needed to weigh myself because something felt different. Did a quick weigh on Thursday and was at 95.9kg. This morning down to 94kg and my belt size dropped a whole notch. Yesterday it was still rather tight on #3. This morning I hooked it on #4 with ease and if I pull in my stomach I will easily be able to fit it in #5.

WHOOSH!!!!

Guys I am so happy right now!!!

I have dropped a size on the shirts....was wearing XL now I just wear L, quite comfortably. For jeans/shorts, I was wearing 42/40, now I am wearing 38, also quite comfortably!!

HALELUJAAAH!!!

So survived my grading on Saturday...4 hours though, not doing that again any time soon. Actually felt physically ill after it, is this possibly exhaustion as I attempted to stay hydrated during and afterwards?

89.1kg, that's the 90's cracked :D I don't think I've been in the 90's since I was in my 20's.
4kg to go...

well done, I've just edged under 82 again for the first time in a couple of months, I seem to be regulating in the lower 80's

I could not be happier right now... dropped 8kg in 3 weeks... now wearing these really nice pants that I bought 6 months ago that never even closed around my waist at the time...

Been doing low-carb and started with intermittent fasting and training this weekend... so far so good...

Seems my current maintenance weight is 93kg/94kg. After dropping the initial 10kg this seems to be the level my current diet maintains. Now to turn on the gas in the gym and shred another 5kg of fat to get to 10% bodyfat.
