Weight loss

The weight loss and cm loss is great but I had to replace all my jeans and work pants. As someone said the belt idea don't work coz the clothing looks bad on you.

I bought the cheapest jeans but it was skill costly and it seems like in 2 months I'll have to do this all over again

Had the same problem - dropped from size 40:sick: to 38 then 36 and now 34 - all in 3 months. Buying brand jeans becomes an expensive task when you do this monthly (but I guess it has finally become a nice problem to have)

Did a 30 min jog today :)
I woke up with a bit of a tingle in my calf and thought I'd skip the run but then decided to go against that!
Run was good

Whether the jeans are expensive or cheap its still silly to spend money on something I'm going to wear only for a short time. Will just have to wait a bit and suffer.

Feels great to buy something smaller though. Inspires me not to do anything to break the progress I've made.

Did a kettlebell workout yesterday and damn I'm feeling it today

i have difficulty running for very long, i have no idea why, just never could run for a long period.

Currently run on the treadmill for like a 2/3 minutes, then walk and recover, then run again.

Any other suggestions, tried to do the circuit yday, yoh, i was bushed...:wtf:

Get a jogging app for beginners

how will that help me run any better?

I also can't run - I hate it. But I got this app that basically trains you to go from 0 to being able to run 5km. So it tells you how long to warm up for and then you walk and jog for certain amounts of time until after you complete the program you should be able to do the 5km without stopping.

Don't know if its the right way to go but I'm on week 3 now..

I'd say what helped me the most was not to overdo it at the beginning. Don't exercise up to failure. Run enough to feel like you did something, then stop. If you kill yourself in the beginning you will lose motivation quickly. Start slow, and add 1km every other week.

At a later stage when you are more fit and confident, you can push yourself.

I reckon its the same as my gym schedule. I have a specific routine which I follow, and when I haven't exercised for a few months and need to get back into things, I just try to get through the routine (i.e. light weights). Then I increase the weight slowly.

Also buy a MP3 player! Music makes a HUGE difference in cardio training.

I think what I basically just want to say is when you start out, concentrate on eating right and getting into the rhythm of exercising regularly.

Anyway, I see a lot of guys here actually want to get the the "6-pack" stage...and to go from 13%bf to 8-9%bf is super difficult. At that stage, you do not really see 'lost cm's' anymore.
