Weight loss

Done already. Med Protein, High Fat and Low Carb. Have carbs just before my workout's in the evening for fuel.

Cut the carbs out completely, and perhaps relook at your intake vs. energy expenditure throughout the day. How long have you been on a low carb diet?

What are you having for carbs?
Toast with some liver spread usually. Sometimes make some eggs to layer.

An odd month. Walk 5km(to and from), swim in the morning when I have time and Kendo in the evening. I'm actually at a energy deficit if we are looking at Energy In VS Energy Out.

Perhaps it is time for the gym- cardio exercises don't raise your metabolism for as extended a period as weight lifting does. A good session of weight lifting can raise your body's metabolism for 24 hours after the session.

this man speaks the truth.

I've gotten a bit sick now, went to the clinic yesterday. Basically I just have that wet cough that sounds like shooting a gun everytime I cough :)

Nurse told me not gym until I finish the anti-biotics, I will go though just not everyday :)

Currently my weight is 112,3Kg - weighed myself yesterday at the clinic :)

Hmm..Could you give me some suggestions :) When you said that I thought of vetkoeks :D

Um... Wrong person to ask :o
I'm cutting out all processed stuff. Only having fruit, meat and vegetables basically.

I also got seasonal flu and weight went a bit down and up for 2 - 3 weeks. Best not to gym while sick, rather walk if you can outside a bit.

Message drew your weight so he can update, nice progress, keep going, you are in the right direction plus if you don't keep going I will catch up, I am only 5kg behind :).

Do any of you feel your diets effect your health?
I'm mainly asking because some of what I see in here back2back the "don't eat fruit" has made me wonder if it's healthy?

Just asking really, not criticizing any of the methods discussed.

IMHO fruit is not that necessary for health. I mean, after all, before Woolies, fridges and airplanes, you could only get fruit in season, which was what, one month a year?

Fruit has health benefits, however people snack on them in high quantities under the guise of "health" nevermind that they are natures equivelants of sweets (high in fructose)

Therefore they are fine in my opinion (In moderation)-

Meaning perhaps 1 a day

I just mentioned fruit because we have discussed it before.
I'm referring to high fat diets or similar diets where by all accounts it seems unnatural.

Yho, I feel so bad I will be out of action for a while...I have quite a number of pills in that box :(

Thanks a lot, yeah I think I will just have 30 - 45 minute walks everyday now until I am all healed up :)

Do you mean affecting it negatively?
