Tonight is not a good night for me. I'm fighting away the tears after the final nail in a relationship I've been desperately trying to salvage for months. I was so close to hitting a bottle of tequila to drown out the pain until I realized it would ruin my attempts at this challenge. I have not cheated or swayed from my macro-nutrient percentages ONCE, and I didn't want to mess up now. I was willing to throw away over 5 months of sobriety and hit the bottle, but stopped myself only when I realized it would mess up this challenge...
So thanks to those of you who have kept this challenge alive, it has been really motivating to stay on track.
I decided to down a handful of painkillers and a tranquilizer instead in the hopes of being able to sleep, but no luck yet...

So I have been without food since 17:00 last night and due to the prep/evac meds I had to take I now weigh 2kgs less then last night... Yes I deliberately weighed just to see how much crap I carry around with me every day
I'm craving a omelet with mozzarella and mushroom filling... alas surgery first...

Of these people, three were diabetics who claimed that Noakes’s low-carb, high-fat diet had cured them.
The SO has been eating keto for a few weeks now. He is no longer on gluconorm and his sugar levels are the best they have been in ages. He has lost weight and doesn't have the cravings he used to have. So for him it is working out.
That's awesome![]()
Must admit when he started off I was very weary about the effects on his diabetes. And we still monitor his sugar levels regularly. But for now it is really working out well.
