Weight loss

Just come back from the braai....I think I had a little too much meat (chicken, pork and sausage). So I am going to work extra hard in gym tomorrow.

I have to say it's such a relief to finally know what's wrong with me. That carrot salad is now my daily breakfast. Oh and yesterday I asked my husband, am I kidding myself or are my thighs looking thinner. Definitely getting thinner he said :) And my skin is actually warm again. For years I've suffered with cold hands and feet and a low body temperature. My doc sent me twice for thyroid tests which were normal. Wish he'd read Gary Taubes book :D

Its simply called Why We Get Fat. The first half focuses on actual stats and studies around the world dealing with obesity.

From about pg 140 onwards he goes into the science behind carbs and how it contributes to weight gain, with insulin being the no1 catalyst.

I have only 3 kgs to go and I will have hit the weight I want to be :)

I picked up flu about a week ago so my running and yoga has been at a halt. So my weight has also been stuck a bit. But now I have cut back on my calories and are only eating when I'm 100% sure it is hunger and not just one of the 100 other reasons I like to eat.

Guys I went to gym today, I was a little disappointed that I have gained some weight.

I am weighing 108, 30kg now (weighed myself after gyming)
 
My final stats for the Dec 9 deadline as at this am.... 50.2 kg's. Better then I expected but worse than I had hoped for :D

My waistline is stagnant though so the weight-loss is coming through everywhere else but where I need it the most :(

Next deadline for me is Dec 28.

Exercise gives you the munchies so watch when and what you eat.

Best time to weigh yourself is in the morning on empty belly.

Remember 2LT of water equals 2KG of weight.
 
114.5kg this lovely day. Was hoping to be around 110kg but I had lets call it a teeny wobble (x a few) the last month but below 115kg is still something. Overall just over 13kg drop since thread started, not much really - still fat as ****, just dropping jean sizes.

Personally still on 62.5kg's but a little more toned from a couple weeks back when I last posted.

Being below 115kg, and losing over 13kg since the start of this thread really is something!!

I have the same problem too, I am dropping my weight, my belly is still quite fat, its my jeans and shorts that are dropping in size. Perhaps there are exercises designed for the belly?? :D
