Weight loss

Is it true that your stomach shrinks if you don't eat? We always have this argument at home but can't come to an agreement.
For example you don't eat the whole day to save yourself for a big supper but come the food you can't fit it into your tummy...

You might still have the tummy due to SUCH a low cap - a 3000kj cap is under 1000 calories. In terms of food you are basically starving yourself - so you could be cannabilising lean muscle (Hence the thinner but floppy look)

However it is a huge drop in weight well done on sticking to it.

Don't think it's starving - lots of liquid during the day. I never liked breakfast (hence the shake) or lunch (in the best case it's a sammwich) - supper is normal - i.e. 2 chicken breasts with some veg. Also treat myself to some MaxiLean (yum chocolate) bars during the day and a weekly celebration meal (last week it was Cubana @ Cedar Square - yum). I guess not drinking alcohol, having stopped smoking more than a year ago also helps a bit...

Not sure the sciennce behind it - whether its physical expansion - but def the more you eat in one sitting, the more you can eat - if I go for smaller portions after a while I can only eat smaller portions.

As an example - I used to put a large chicken filla away with ease - now I would prob puke everywhere

To those who do have an "binge" day/weekend. Don't stress it too much.

From my experience when my weight loss slowed down as the weeks/months wore on I realised every now and again I needed a "binge" weekend. It seemed to fool my body into dropping weight when I went back onto my eating plan the following Monday.

So now I make at least one weekend every month a "binge" weekend.

And whilst I use the word binge. I don't stuff my face like I used to. Just don't stick to my eating plan.

Although you loosers (lol - I hope everyone in this thread is one) decided not to acknowledge my success starting from May I have now dropped (from 19/08) to 78.8kg (another 2kg)

Still going strong with a mix of spinning/running in the morning, a whey-milk shake (ON whey - 60g chocolate-mint flavour with milk) as breakfast and regular meals during the day (capping intake at 3000kj per day and not exceeding carbs beyond 50g/day). The only supplements I take now are either glutamine or creatine powder as part of my morning shake and vitamins. The jelly-tummy-transformation is however challenging.

It's losers, just the one "O"....just saying :erm:

Anyhow that is really well done, great stuff indeed!!

 you weigh under 55kg, you could eat the whole of pick n pay and still be skinny

I wouldn't be skinny. I would be skinny fat :(

Unfortunately my waistline is the only place that puts on weight. So imagine a stick figure with a soccer ball as his tummy :o

Weekends are always bad for me. Especially cold weekends.

But its been a good week so not fussing too much.

I'm going to leave some batter in the bowl to lick even before they get baked :o

Well if everyone is binging and having parties and cakes this weekend then I'm joining in as well...I am going to splurge tomorrow and add raisons to my All Bran!!
