Weight loss

Does anyone have any suggestions for milk or alternatives I can bring to work? I don't really have access to a fridge, so currently I'm using non dairy creamer, the el cheapo stuff from PnP.

Otherwise I may invest in one of those lil' micro fridges.. or overclock the aircon in my server room :D

Did you look at the contents of that non-dairy creamer? I'd rather drink black coffee or tea, seriously.

if you're only sweating under exercise conditions I wouldn't worry about it too much

A simple 10 minute walk shouldn't make you sweat surely?

depends, we're all unique so his body could react to exercise stimulus raising his core temperature above 37 deg quite quickly triggering the sweating

Normally, when I am at the gym, working out, I sweat a lot but that's normal. The 10 minute walk isn't exercise, its just me walking to school. Yes I do feel really hot when I stop walking.

Yes yes I know - it's just short term until I have another solution or when I can start lactating into my coffee at will.

Unless you have other weird symptoms I wouldn't worry about it, when you lose weight and bring up your fitness it'll probably cause you to sweat less, but, some people just sweat more than others.

Maybe I'm different but a walk unless it is brisk is not going to break a sweat at all.

A lot depends on the individual.
I sit quietly on the patio in 30 degrees, sweating. My SO does aerobics in the same conditions with barely a sweat.

I find the fitter I get the easier I sweat

Yeah, sounds like me, I have a hard time in the summer, I feel the heat really badly compared to most people. And I've lived in KZn all my life lol. Even in the shade from our crazy summers, Jan-March, during those 35 degree days and 30 degree nights with 90% humidity.. my brain just fails at smarts making.

Since I was almost done with my 4 weeks of paleo, I thought I'd jump on the ketogenic diet bandwagon on Saturday and yep, the scale is moving downwards again. The only thing is I hate the meals. I added some chicken to my diet and I have to eat as fast as I can just to get those meals down. I'm gonna try and finish 2 weeks and then do carb cycling with paleo foods. I enjoyed eating the paleo way.

I can't really see any major differences between the two.
Actually if I look here:
http://thepaleodiet.com/what-to-eat-on-the-paleo-diet/
It appears that I am probably more on a Paleo life style anyhow.

I have increased cheese and Avocado for my fat intake but I don't enjoy cream or bacon or fat on my steak and not going to eat those.

lol I'm not at risk of dying yet. But for the morbidly obese - yes that'd be a great payoff

Because of my body shape + height, when I was 70 I was still considered obese by the BMI charts. I don't bother when them since they're not a determining factor of what ideal weight is and they assume you have a specific body type/shape etc

This is why, my 'diet' is more a lifestyle change but I'm not going to stress about health and BMI and any of that. I want to try live healthier etc but .. the amount of infor, misinfo and time to study would probably shorten my life more than what I'd gain from following /testing everything out there. :D

70 years or 70 kg's? :D

I have the same issue with BMI. It's a load of toss.
According to BMI, for my height I should weigh between 53 and 72kg.
To get to 72kg, I will have to have zero percent body fat. To get to 53, I'll have to start amputations.
