Weird Acer keyboard problem

Hi,

So my Acer's (Aspire 3 A315) keyboard is acting up. Only the power button is working and nothing else.
Even in the BIOS it is not responding
- Tried driver updates including BIOS.
- Opened the laptop. Removed the battery to try and do a reset. Also cleaned and reconnected the ribbon cable.

Next step is to replace the keyboard?
