Right, my ADSL line went down about 4/5/6 days ago, and it has been down since. Until today. Today it decided to magically sync. Here is the cracker though. I used to have a 6Mbps line with a 6072/640 sync. No problems apart from a massive amount of CRC errors. (1500 in a little over 10 seconds)

The line now syncs at 512/640. Yep, you read that right. My UL is faster than my DL.

What can are my possible options?

Phone Telkom at 0800 375 375 (can be done 24/7) and ask them to reset your port (change its profile) to 4Mbps.
You can also try to see if G.Dmt modulation works better than ADSL2+.

If you're still having issues with your connection dropping, then I'd suggest that you post your ADSL's statistics here (specifically the sync speed, line attenuation and SNR margins).
