Does anyone know what this is and what it covers?

I'm paying an extra R420 to wesbank for this, when I asked what it was they replied
"The dealership is the supplier of the Maintenance Plan and you need to contact them for queries."

Which doesn't make sense to me, if the dealer supplies a maintenance plan, then why am I paying wesbank for it?

Probably an add-on that you signed for. Your dealer also provided you with the car, but you're not paying them directly for that are you?

I assume it's a typical aftermarket maintenance plan covering services, etc.

Well the car was new, but the maintenance plan is no longer in effect. So maybe they added it for some reason.

Ok, that's what you get for not reading every line of a contract

I didn't see this. So I've been paying monthly charges for an additional maintenance plan on a brand new car.

I need to cover my car under maintenance plan through Wes bank. May you please help

You normally cannot cover a car under a maintenance plan if the original plan has expired. In other words you can only extend your current maintenance plan. Some dealers may waive this if your car has been maintained by them, but normally they don't.

You would first need to phone the dealership of your car make, any dealership and ask them if they would offer a maintenance plan on your specific vehicle, they will ask for your VIN number etc.
