Good Afternoon and greetings to all!

Hi Guys & Girls

I am Wesley, i'm from the eCommerce department at Rectron JHB

For the next couple months i shall be posting information on various products that we sell here at Rectron, Obviously i will not be able to give out information to the public about pricing and quantites of products as we do not sell to the end user

I've made this account purely to give out information on products that we have here at Rectron and new technology coming from our many vendors here

So to start things off

May i introduce the Gigabyte Brix

This item is not currently available in South Africa, but we will be bringing it in soon and will be found on many eCommerce sites in SA!!

Happy camping guys and if you want any info or have questions feel free to post here

Pricing?

Yes, I'm taking the piss, but why post this if we don't know if we can afford it?

Are we able to purchase directly as end user or we need to register as a dealer to purchase? :)

Wesley isn't registered as an advertiser on the site, so may find himself banned pretty soon.

Hi Wesley, good to see a slumbering behemoth (apparently..) waking up to the fact of the forum, and welcome. But best you get in touch with the site admin(s) and get yourself registered as a dealer as, without it, posts like this could very easily be reported as spam (RAS); dealer registration will legitimise your account. Then, that cute \\info and <link>// signoff thing you did broke your link, but works normally if you don't append the // to it ..you may want to reconsider that little indulgence. :p Oh, and tighten up on your long-winded ramblings with it, there's really no need for your post to take up anywhere near that length! :erm:

if we not able to purchase directly, then I dont see the point of this??
Rather RAS/Spam your dealers directly

I dont see the point if you cant at least tell us RRP and where to get one from.

What's the point in this if non of the local shops near me don't buy from Rectron. I think posts like this would be better for your dealers than the general public who can't purchase from Rectron.

Then what's the bloody point?
And then there's this. Other companies; Esquire, Scoop, Uniterm have done this right by opening up a MyBB 'dealer' channel. Which, frankly, I don't see Rectron doing so you may have to rethink this ...unless you (Rectron) are prepared unbend?

who had the brainfart this morning?

Management: We need more sales! I know, lets spam those nerds at MyBroadband!
Wesley: But sir, they cant buy direct from us. We cant undercut our own business partners.
Management: Dont talk back to me Wesley, just do it!

100 internets for you sir :D

Hahaha creative thinking i do say

As i said this will be available from eCommerce stores, so you will not need a shop near you to stock this item as eCommerce stores have delivery ;)

Also before this post i doubt you knew about the Gigabyte brix? I am not here to sell these items to you, as you can see i am not advertising for any eCommerce stores, all i am doing is giving out information on products that will be available in south africa soon. Its free knowledge at the end of the day.

I also see no reason for a dealer account or any such thing as again i am not advertising for anyone as Rectron can only be purchased from by a registered distributor.

Of course if the community here would prefer me not to show off new products and give out information and technical support than of course i will respect the wishes of the community and not post here :)

Wesley, we all have enough internet and enough skill with said internet to know about these things. As that, frankly, high-handed opinion (IMO at any rate), AFAIK forum policy requires that accounts with commercial intent have to register as such. Or you could just get RAS'd.
