if you want to punt new products, then maybe contact one of the mybb journos to do an article.
While some will probably want your product, its almost pointless without pricing, especially coming from a distributor.

Maybe if you posted something in your personal capacity, we might thing its a kewl product and comment, but you brought your company into this, and they are also the distributor for the product, so this is blatant advertising and RAS as far as I am concerned

As i said this will be available from eCommerce stores, so you will not need a shop near you to stock this item as eCommerce stores have delivery

I am not here to sell these items to you, as you can see i am not advertising for any eCommerce stores, all i am doing is giving out information on products that will be available in south africa soon. Its free knowledge at the end of the day.

Alright it seems we have gotten off on the wrong foot

I have contacted Rudolf at Mybroadband, and my account shall be changed to be a Company rep account, as i thought i do not have to register as a dealer as that has nothing to do with what i am doing.

Now lets see if we can get this going properly

I would like input from the mybb community on what you would like to see , as i said guys i am here to give you information on products.

I am certainly not here to irritate anyone or offend anyone i just want to have friendly discussions about up and coming tech, i have a plethora of information and knowledge that needs to be shared

Seems like Wesley has been busy all over the online SA Forums, technology related. Why indirectly market your reseller channels (dealerships)? Should this not be equal to all dealerships… this can be pushing products only toward a certain reseller group, negatively impacting the other dealers.

The more important question would be. Would it not be better to increase your clientèle by letting mybroadband customers purchase directly from you? Esquire is doing it and see what great influence that is on their business. Most of the people on the mybroadband forum are quite aware of what technology is around them. Most of them also follow the latest releases of products. Most of them all want to try out these devices at competitive prices.

What you said about us not knowing about the Gigabyte Brix is probably true (Mostly it is more a commercial type of device used in advertising screens). I am pretty sure if one were to be working in the advertising space one would be aware of it though?

I would like to see you introduce a special Rectron account for forum members to allow us to buy from you directly, like Esquire does. If not then I don't really care much about the products you want to punt as I already follow a bunch of tech review sites that cover... well tech.

EDIT: actually I wouldn't really mind if you did just this type of thing, really doesn't cause any harm. But you better make sure that the products are as interesting as the Brix. If you just start posting about the latest Intel processors, then expect internet wrath

Nothing wrong with providing recent developments, up-to-date is always important. The thing is, as a representative he must also indicate the distribution points, thus pointing towards a dealer. The dealer must provide the availability and pricing. How will he promote these channels, this I would like to know?

I'm interested, but I can't find any online store in ZA that stocks these ( cursory glance )

I think you need to consider opening up accounts for myBB users, even if it means we pay a slight premium over businesses.

Yes of course i have been busy on all the forums, as not everyone registered here is registered on lets say lazygamer.

As stated, Rudolph shall be chaging my account to a Company Rep, hopefully that will suffice.
