Ok, delivery guy drops off the voucher to go collect my Lappy.

No Such Lappies in stock, wife already paid. They say no refund so I needed to select a Tower :D Ok all nice and working, or so I thought.

Tried to switch it on, it says: Failed to boot. Enter disc and press enter.

*Now I already know the fk'r never connected the HDD. :mad: I just broke the seal, so now the Warantee is void. Ok PC up and running now.

Vista is a Biatch, it took me 35 minutes to create a network connection and none of my software is working, somewierd errors as it is not Vista Compatable. Anyway... Downloading a shyt load of drivers now, will get to my WoW later....

I'm so pissed off I feel like chucking this new PC from the Balcony :o

How in the fscking hell is that anyway to conduct business? How can they charge you for something they have not in stock? :confused:

No idea, but i wanted a Tower instead anyway :) Worked out for me in the end. Was an online Purchase for a Proline Lappy. Anyway that is not my concern, the fact that my warantee is now void cos the bastard never plugged in the HDD is my concern. :(
 
I just love getting a new piece of hardware....the excitement in the house hold is just so cool, even the dogs like it. :)

NEVER and i do mean NEVER buy a already build pc from someone you dont know ore some places that why i always say custom build FTW.

If you buy already build pc your better of going to a shop buying a console.
At least you know what you get.
Theres like 10000 ways they can rip you off.
They can put in a crappy motherboard cheap ass ram.

And theres 2000000 ways to rip off people that dont know much about pc.

Go to rectron or sahara and build you own pc or do what i did know a friend thats in IT and hes good i selected the stuff from rectron price list what i wanted in and he builded it for me 100% as what i wanted.And my machine is pure joy permanent 75 frames per second on wow even in Shat and Ogri.

nothing as crap as getting new hardware and its not working :( .

Do your self a favour if its only wow you play and your not too much bothered with direct 10 put XP back on your pc.

I got directx 10 card but it seemed still a bit unstable to me back on xp and direct x 9 now and i got no problems.

i ll go over to Vista as soon as all of you guys sended your bug reports to mocrosoft so they can bring out SP2 :)

Well the problem with MAC is it can almost only play blizzard games i love my wow but i do sometimes have the need to play or do something else on my pc.

Mac is ma Tosh.

I take it all macs more or less use same hardware?
If thats true that means they WILL run almost anything faster cause programmers know what hardware the software is gone be used on almost like consoles i saw the first x-box run games at its time that far outmatched its specs.I am talking about stuff that came out like fable at its time it was impressive how the old x-box handled it and Halo 2.
Just remember these came out way before pc release and check the pc you need to play these.

yes the pc one looked better but these games came out almost year before pc release.

I played them in UK on release.

Just had a few mac vs pc threads here in the last few weeks, don't need another. :)

Anyway, either u want one or u don't, but the mac bashers tend to not know what they're talking about, as they never use macs.
Have a look on the Apple site, if u want to the see models and specs.

I dont know alot about mac just that i cant install most games on it :( .
My friend has got one and i know ALOT of stuff dont work on them.

You know since the switch to intel cpu's recent mac's also run windows really well right?

You popped the seal. Too much excitement i guess, but you should have just taken the pc back and let the store sort the issue out. Patience is worth it in the long run.

I'm just happy this happened to Pitbull, if this had happened to me, oh trust me... That place would have given me the PC for free just to keep me quiet!
