What anti virus software do you use?

eset, updates 3-4 times a day, never had an issue, its just fusking awesome, I will never look at another AV again

I know that I started this thread, but just a little update.

I have an ABSA account and I heard that they offer Trend Micro Internet Security for free, so I have decided to give it a try. I think its worth a try, has anyone here tried it?
Trend Micro Internet Security is the worst anti-virus EVER! that thing couldn't find a virus if you pointed it to the virus code!, rather use AVG, at least its kind of protection

Trend Micro Internet Security is the worst anti-virus EVER!

Dude's notebook croaked not to long ago and he gave it to me. The thing was infested with virusses & malware. Poor sod was using Trend AV.

Yeah, thanks for all the feed back.

I must admit I am not using it on my main PC yet, just a spare PC that we have.

So I will give it a shot - but thanks for the advice, I still prefer Bitdefender ;)

Linux! :D

But seriously, when I had a Windows machine, used Norton AntiVirus then BitDefender Internet Security.

I browse the net 95% of the time via Linux but the 5% I have to go to the web via Windoze7 I use AVG free.

Kaspersky is good. Also updated like 5 times a day.

Found Avast! good to...

Using kaspersky, and its pretty good. Had avg before that, and didnt have any problems with it either....However... I strongly suggest that you stay AWAY from TrendMicroIS! I swear, you're probably better off taking your chances with the virus!

I used Kaspersky for quite a few years, but recently stopped. It's a great piece of software, but far too expensive not to mention a pain to remove from the system.

Now I'm using Avast coupled with Microsoft Security Essentials.

ESET Smart Security.
have huge amounts of faith in ESET software. Low on system resources.

Agree with System error about staying away from TrendMicro. We used it at work for awhile, and all it did was give us grief, at least the Enterprise version did.
