Road very busy. N3 to Durban.

Left at 4am at De Hoek Plaza at around 5am and there was still about a 20min+ delay with traffic.

Probably a pagan ritual involving a feast and an orgy...... you know, old school, how Easter was celebrated before the Christian invaders

(don't quote me the historical accuracy of that though)
You going to do it Northern Hemisphere style, with, you know, eggs and hares and fertility rituals, or in the spirit of this being the Southern Hemisphere, and nothing to do with Spring whatsoever, will you sacrifice someone for a mild Winter ahead?

Does it count as traveling or home if I just got here less than a month ago and this is my home for about a week now and I'm going to do a days worth of work over Easter from home? :p

Making sure municipality doesn't fek up my sewerage connection even more than it currently is.

Northern, definitely northern. Sounds sacrificee

Friday I decided to empty my cupboard of old clothes I no longer have use for. That turned in to a general sweep through my cupboards, drawers and bedroom.

9-hours later...The absolute sh*t I had accumulated. DVDs, CDs, textbooks, keepsakes, just nonsense taking up every inch of available space. I filled two black bags with clothes and 4 boxes with DVDs, books and CDs. Clothes will be donated, everything else I placed in our storage locker. It is 100% true what they say, decluttering and clearing out my cupboards and bedroom was cathartic and what a joy it is to open drawers and doors and hardly see anything.

Made a bit of cash as well by digging out an old PC, monitor and DVD player in the process and flogging them on Facebook Marketplace.

Saturday I spent negotiating and selling the above 3 items and then visited my brother in the evening. Sunday I visited family for lunch. Yesterday was too good a day to sit inside, so we had a braai and just chilled outside sipping on G&Ts.

All-in-all an enjoyable weekend.
