I use VDSL cause its the fastest service avaible in my area, as soon as something faster or better becomes available i will go for it. LTE is available but at the rate i consume data its too expensive.
WISP because telkom doesn't want to install fiber or even normal cables for adsl or fiber to our home just because I live in a rural area according to them. I live approximately 8km from town.
Cell C LTE was available with my ISP when their wireless service did not work well enough for me anymore. Its also cheaper than the wireless service. Although not uncapped. Moving to Fibre as soon as Frogfoot finish their installation in my area.
Fibre - only TT Connect unfortunately in my road so limited on packages and competition. My 10Mbps fibre line is cheaper than what I had to pay for 4Mbps ADSL. So everything considered, I'm pretty happy. Just wish there wasn't no much downtime on TT Connect.
Fixed LTE - Live in a complex which has the infrastructure but nobody willing to install. The is no line of site for WISPs, no telephone lines for ADSL, and no fibre due to the nature of the complex.
Cell C (LTE more like 2.5G) and Telkom LTE (the increased there data prices tho)
Still awaiting on my ADSL application. Done twice within a telkom store
