What broadband service do you use as your primary connection at home?

10Mbps ADSL, which is adequate.

We have fibre coverage, but it's MTN, who until recently were a closed network (with lots of complaints from users with MTN or SmartVillage/Supersonic as ISP). And even now, all offers on their network are more expensive at the same speed and provide less value.

Faster upload would be nice, but IMHO not worth the extra costs at the moment (for me).

Openserve fiber 40/20- Helkom , sucks eggs, PTA
 
100mbps Openserve for over a year now, ISP is MWeb - max download speeds achieved is 68mbps, uploads 80mbps.
Fibre in my opinion is way overrated.
 
Vumatel with Vox 200mbs.uncapped pro package.

And your story is old, crappy and just plain wrong!. You could have simply said you converted to fibre, instead of coming up with an inaccurate story!
 
Mobile - Cell C 200GB. Because it's the cheapest.
 
Currently Using Rain Unlimited,
Telkom lines not being replaced or repaired in my area, no Fibre, and expensive pricing on all other services.
Was on ADSL from 2006 and stuck it out with Afrihost. Good service received from them.

I Use ADSL , as it is the most affordable. Don't have FIBRE avail in the area I live , don't have any idea as to when it will be installed.
 
Adsl. Fibre is here but major problem getting it into house without destroying entranceway flooring.

It is the only vaibile option in Heilbron. 3G not working properly in town on any of the networks. Adsl uncapped best value for money.
 
I am currently using ADSL because they have just finished laying fiber in my area and will soon be going over to fiber just looking where i can find the best deals.
