What car do you drive?

I'm interested to know if you looked at the chery tiggo 4 1.5t before buying the kia?

About to pull the trigger on one of them and there is R20 000 between a demo of the sonet 1.5 cvt ex and a demo of the tiggo 4 1.5t.

I'm in SA for roughly 2 more years so thinking of taking a risk on the chery as you get way more car in a chery than any of its competitors at the price point.

2012 Jaguar XF S 3.0D as my daily. No backup plan. My 2007 X-Type 2.2D gave me excellent service up to 270 000 km, though.

How has the XF been treating you? I really like the design of the first-gen XF, has aged really well imo. I heard they have bad reliability though, with numerous mechanical and electrical failures.
 
Sold my 330d (with software & downpipe) in July 2022.

No need for 2 cars in the UK so the family car is a 2.0d x3. Great overall vehicle, but miss the added oomph.

Reasons: well the train is cheaper.

The car would be madness not to get a hybrid and the waiting lists are long and this was the most affordable option if you balance out waiting time, features and cost.

We waited 4 months, for the Yaris it would have been 8-9 months.

That said, awesome little car. Boot space is not that great but it's got lane assist etc. and I'm getting about 4.5 l/100km. Can probably get a bit better if I tried a little harder.
 
BMW X5 xDrive35i for me.

I wanted something sturdy and reliable, non-leather interior and AWD for the weather. That was about 7 years ago, and still going strong. Next car will probably be electric.

Pre or post-facelift? I still can't decide which one I like more.

I can't really tell yet - only have it since August last year, but so far so good. Had her first transmission service done at ZF shortly after I took delivery. Low mileage (46 000 km), but she was 10 years old at that point, and according to ZF, it was a good idea to do so.
 
Both hatchbacks,timing chains,cruise control and climate control.Those are my must have's.

Honda Accord in 1995
BMW 318i in 2012, stolen in 2013 from BMW's workshop whilst being serviced (they "lost" the keys)
Honda Jazz from 2013 to 2019

The Accord had some peculiar problems. The windscreen seal leaked water. It took 3 goes to fix it and the week after the last fix the decorative trim blew off in the wind. I had to pay for that

Wife wants a Fit Hybrid. They can only offer white cars, so will have to hold on
