what do you think about patch 4.3 so far?

I found myself hoping to not get selected for a guild raid so that i could get some welfare epics in LFR for my alts, or go level my jedi :D

when the invite came, it was like "oh damn, now i have to focus...."

lol! I'm like that sometimes as well xD

its been awhile lol cant remember i posted this :P have to agree with zippy about items and how rare they are, but tbh i think LFR shouldve been 10 and 25 normal modes, not a easier version. because normal mode is pretty easy as it is any ways, and the only way you can wipe is if you get a group of kiddies that cant understand basic tactics like dont stand in the fire lol :P i understand from all your point of views which dont have time to raid due to work or family, and seeing the games content easily. but if you compare it to other games you can complete it on your own time but there is an actual challenge in other games unlike LFR where its basicly 25 people killing all bosses with no effort what so ever, especially deathwing is impossible to wipe in a LFR, but atleast blizz was smart enough to reduce the ilvl on LFR gear so my heroic FL gear was still better than LFR gear :P

Just my 20 copper on the patch

Positives
LFR is convenient as you can raid when it suits you. Queue times are relatively quick after reset, getting longer as week goes on. Most loots issues have been resolved.

Negatives
New 'heroic' dungeons are pathetically simple
Blizzard continues to worsen the glut of welfare epics.
DS 10 / LFR has destroyed the AH by making almost all professions redundant as very few crafted items are better than loot.
DS 10 man was being pugged on our server 3 weeks after release.
FL may as well be changed to a 5 man as it isn't run anymore as the welfare handouts from LFR are so much easier to get.

In a nutshell. If you are someone who wants to log on 2-3 times a week and fiddle around, you make up the majority of Blizzard's target audience and this patch is absolutely for you. If you are a serious raider from vanilla WoW you may find yourself wondering why you are raiding 4 times a week to have a gear score that is 5-8 points on average higher than someone who dinged 85 over Christmas.

I have to agree with what has been said above but for me I think it has been mostly positive. The LFR system is awesome I really enjoy doing them on my different characters. There are ofcourse downsides to it with people rolling on loot they already have and people signing up as healers just to get in and then just dpsing. But on a whole it has been mostly good.

All my 8 85's have already done LFR and got couple of pieces with my highest being Priest at 389 ilvl and mage with 387 ilvl, which have also done normal.

It is so easy to gear for LFR and only takes a day of grinding and sending JP/VP gear from other characters.

I find LFR fun since I do with healer/tank/dps to experience all roles, but still hate the ninja looting from people who got the normal version or same piece equiped.

One problem with LFR is that they took all the nice weapons from LFR out so cant upgrade my weapons on half my characters so have to try pug normal DS.
