Okay, so it was too good too last. I bought Top TV Tuesday, registered Wednesday, installed Thursday and on Monday... Still no activation!

It says: This card is not authorized (6). What does the six mean? The girl from Flash DSTV assures me she has spoken to Top TV numerous times but still nothing! And guess what? The call centre line is giving an "engaged" tone.

So yeah, it was definitely too good too last

Probably an internal error code number.

Are you phoning the 08600 number - it should be active and you should phone them - the installer is not going to activate it for you. Select option 2 once you are through and hang in there waiting for an operator - its the only way at the moment to get it activated. I assume you do have a customer number as the installer needs that to install the dish. You need to give the operator that number.

I notice the number is busy - just try until you get through

"6" its what you call your the person on in your group of friends that doesn't quite fit in.
Is it possible that TOPtv is having a laugh at your expense? :p

Hmmmm... wouldn't put it past them at this stage... :)

Funny thing is - when I pressed the menu button it did give me the tv guide. I just couldn't "access" a program? What is up with that? But it still said the card is not authorized.

6 means Error Code 6-The Card is not authorized for viewing the content
