Share your views on what you think Vodacom does well, and what you think it can do better.

Good: Network performance and coverage, technology innovation.

Bad: Data prices, slow FTTH rollout

Good: Network coverage and performance

Bad: data bundle prices (500MB for R99 vs Telkom 1GB for R99, which can roam on MTN) and it just gets worse the bigger you go...

Open an online accessories store or "bolt" accessories onto contracts.
Have accessories available at the same time they release new devices so that you can get a cover/charging pad/whatever the same day you get a phone.
Improve on the website's ability to give you past and present invoices and statements. Cost to date is nice to see but ultimately useless when doing a monthly budget.
Improve the whole website and give people better control over what they buy.

Give standard contracts better data prices. The data price difference gb for gb between a data contract and a smart s for example is insane.
Increase the rollover to at least 60 days, optimal would be 90. 30 days is way to little.

If you have a data contract with them. R289 gets you 5gb.
Smart S the same costs you R399.

Good: Network coverage and performance

Bad: Data pricing for prepaid and non-native contracts

Good: Coverage

Bad: Data pricing. Service isn't that great either, customer care ignore requests, gave them two weeks (even with reference number auto-response that they'll respond in 24 houts). That being said - better than the rest.

Good: Can't think of anything.
Improve: Basically everything, pricing, call quality and stability, coverage, customer support, Personnel, etc.

AND GET RID OF THAT RIDICULOUS OOB SHARK!

Best coverage
Decent service
OOB crookery
LIFO nonsense
Overpriced data
Itemised billing needs to be included for free

- Coverage in most areas are good
Definitely Data prices and data bundles needs to be looked it....it is way too expensive!!

Good: Their coverage is quite decent, I do a lot of travelling in the Free State and get 3G or higher on the farmlands.
Bad: Definitely their pricing

Same as everyone else here.

+Coverage/Network performance
-Data Prices

A 2GB bundle will set me back R250. Or, go to Neotel and spend R50 and use the other R200 on other necessities (or junk food, whichever you prefer). Other competitors aren't as low priced as Neotel (and they are better in network performance and coverage), but they fit the role here.

The Voda App works great and I can see my account in real time. This is great. My account and connection works smoothly.
What I would like to see is cheaper DATA bundles!!!!

Good: Network coverage, data speed
Bad: Data prices!

I agree with all the good here.

BAD: untrained, unqualified, incompetent staff. It is absolutely infuriating trying to resolve a problem, or query something and each agent has a different answer.
