What Gaming mouse?

G5 seems nice...a bit pricy though...Cheapest i have seen is on take 2 for R735.

Get the MX518, same shape of the G5 just the resolution is slightly lower (its 1600 vs G5's 2000, get over it you cant feel a differance a standard mouse is 200)

What's your friends' nick in COD4?

The name he usually uses is "Hollands_Hope" but lately his been playin at my place with the name "no_country_$_ol".
Hes not the best ever, but he can open a can of whipass on anyone. I let him play on my PC cause I just get so facinated watching the dude play, like a real flippin marine. If you want to see a Vid...

Nope you really cant feel a difference, well I cant.

OK! Went on a mission this morning looking for a mouse.....Couldnt find anywhere that had stock of the cyber snipa, so ended up buying the G5, big price diff, but decided not to mess around ;) So far this is a neat little mouse, love the weight cartridge, that really helps balance the mouse. :)

Wise choice ;) Have fun :)

I know this may be a st00pid Q - but should i be using a mouse pad with this G5? Currently im using it on my smooth wooden desk. Maybe a mouse pad would be better :?

I use my MX1000 on polished wood.

A mousepad is only meant to provide a solid, smooth surface for the mouse to track on. You're probably fine sticking with the wood.

You'd need a mousepad if you went to a LAN, though. I carry a panel of polished wood with me... no jokes. :p

Smooth wooden desk works, but depends what kind of mouse feet you got, wear and tear varies, mine Microsoft Wheel Mouse optical had no problem, but Razer copperhead's feet worn out quite quickly.....

I got the G5, they have pretty big pads underneath....I am thinking i might just get a mouse pad and see, may save some wear and tear.

Got myself a Cyber snipa mouse pad for R99, does the trick! I actually prefer the mouse pad, feels smoother than on wood.
