The top recommended app for me today:

This is a fresh install on my handset. This would never happen in the iStore. The play store is an abomination.

I agree it's a problem, but you really have to be some kind of stupid to install an app like that.
Some people need to learn the hard way.

To be fair, it's recommended apps for YOU: Even if it's a fresh handset, big G still has a lot of info on your preferences from search history and other things. Been searching for any misspelled major brands lately?:p

I don't really use the calendar all that much and don't recall that interface, but can't really see what's wrong with it?

^^the calendar is what's wrong with mybroadband lol. Can't delete attachments anymore. That was uploaded by accident. Luckily nothing personal.

As for the issues with the play store:
1) that crap got top spot
2) it has over 4 stars... Srsly
3) There are over 12k reviews - mostly good

Don't blame the tool....blame the fool! :D

With the only difference that the App Store won't recommend that sheit for you.

And somehow Apple doesn't seem to have this issue:

Using the advanced features does not work for you?

I have long ago stopped taking notice of the ratings ----- the originators of the App have long ago started manipulated these ratings to induce you to try their rubbish.

It's this easy

Notice how you can't do the rating thing for iOS:

And double the cost - it's much harder to cheat your way to the top in the iStore. Google made it easy.

That based on shiat YOU searched and visited....

Been to Russian porn sites lately?

Actually I turn all analytics and tracking off on my Google account. This is also a fresh factory reset (third time in the past week) on a spare phone that I'm trying to repair. So if I'm not mistaken, this is pure Google intelligence. And we want these guys to drive our cars :crylaugh:

Fokken Google can map the whole world but cannot vet apps. Jisses I never browse the play store. It's so full of KACK. TSEK.

UserCP - click on Attachments (bottom left) and tick in box for the attachment concerned, choose delete...

There is a rider though. One has to wait about 60 minutes before the attachments appears in the list to delete it from the list. If one tries to do this before that the attachment is not in the list yet. And if the post which originally made use fo the attachment is deleted before that the attachment never makes it to the list.

At least that is what I think is happening.

On the advanced editing features, Manage attachments, shows this rider: "Uploads not utilized within one hour will be deleted".

It appears to me that as a result of this facility, an attachment will not appear in your list of attachments before an hour has passed?
