What Google / android are getting badly wrong

That app has 1 million plus downloads and 12000+ good reviews.

Just shows how popular whatsapp is if a clone app called watspap has those stats

Yeah you can clearly see from the logo it's not WhatsApp. WhatsApp will not change their logo without the whole world knowing about it.

This isn't about anyone falling for it being whatsapp, it's about it wasting space in the store and taking up a slot as one of the 'best apps' instead of something good. Bottom line is the play store's rating system counts for squat.

My one is pretty good, found three news games I'm playing. I really like:
Soul Knight (Android) (iOS)
Of course that's a game, but other things like some file browsers recommended to me, ZArchiver, I still use as I like it more than most other file browsers, was recommended to me as I downloaded ES File Explorer.

iOS also had some good apps I got, like tinylegends but that was in the top list and not as a recommended app (Just used the search function on the itunes site and typing tinylegends doesn't give any results lol, typed it into Google instead, first hit). The explore functions feels a bit meh tbh.

You should know by now he'll defend android even if it was proved the nazis used it to arrange the death camps, he's not just a fanboy, he's an ultra über superduperfanboy ...
