What Google / android are getting badly wrong

I pray tell you that I never browse the play store. I only use what comes with the phone, save for a few apps that was recommended in the Android App thread here. :erm:

Or you google and see what others are recommending.

There is a rider though. One has to wait about 60 minutes before the attachments appears in the list to delete it from the list. If one tries to do this before that the attachment is not in the list yet. And if the post which originally made use fo the attachment is deleted before that the attachment never makes it to the list.

At least that is what I think is happening.

No, I often have the problem where loading an image from a URL freezes and hangs, but still ends up attached (no

Funny, I have the opposite problem ---- trying to get rid of the BS bloatware that comes with the phone! 90% of the apps that come with the phone are just rubbish designed to suck up your data allocations. And getting rid of them is nigh on impossible without rooting the phone.

It was all about a new App that looks like a "WhatsApp" update but isn't.

Yup, lost of misleading apps on there.

You should have seen the amount of "BBM Messengers" that came out before the actual BBM Messenger came out

I'm very confused as to what the OP's issue is.

TLDR is google play store sticking a piece of crap in top spot as a top recommended app. What that tells me is that the legit stuff is buried deep in the morass of apps that pay their way to the top. It's what's wrong with the play store. iStore really doesn't suffer from this (though it has it's own challenges).

So, just don't install it and move on with your life? Is it really worth the heartburn and blood pressure medication inducing thread writing?

Sorry about your BP, heartburn and stuff, maybe time to give MyBB a rest?

Yep. And add to that the fact that some manufacturers have handsets with 8Gb storage.

iOS meanwhile puts paid apps in the top free apps list. On messaging them about it, they said it wasn't an issue.
Haven't used the app store in quite a while though, this was about two years ago.

I can't remember ever seeing that, and it isn't happening now.

Two distinct lists.

Yeah. Just like taxis, or people that stand to close to you in the checkout line at checkers, or the SAPO, or whatever. I mean life's too short to get so worked up.

Then take a deep breath and find a thread that makes you happy! Time to take control of your life PW!
