sapphire 9600XT 256. Plan to upgrade soon, any suggestions???? (R2000 max)

Hello,
In my rig I have 2x 6800U's eVGA's in SLI mode, powered by an FX55, doing around 38500+ in 3dM01, 24000+ in 3dM03, 11000+ in 3dM05 and around 106k+ in Aquamark3.

My Wife's rig is powered by 3200+ Winchester at 2600mz, pushing a ATI X800XT-PE....

Nowadays I don't bench for the top10 in the world to much anymore, mainly use my SLI rig for GTR Simulation, running 1600x1200 and 16AF, 8XFSAA.

All in all, can't really bring the SLI rig to it's knees, even at high res with max eye candy.

Anyway, here is a South African Database - open to all benchers and clockers, to compete with South Africa's best: http://www.overclocking.co.za

edit: fixed the link. Thanx Razer

Mods: Don't remove the link, it is a local database similar to international Futuremark.

Thanx.

Br,
MrBean.

MrBean_pm, nice rig! I overclock myself but it's more on the small scale hobby level i.e. just seeing how far I can push my components on air cooling ;) I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much cash on a system with such diminishing returns (like you implied it's far too fast for any current game). I guess it's similar to those guys in competition sound who spend twice the amount on sound equipment than the car itself :)

Hi Perdition-yeah it is a nice setup, only watercooled now. Used to have 2 phase-change setups, VapoPE and later VapoLS, but, relaxing until dualcores around.

Busy building a neat racing sim, as I recently imported one of the ECCI6000 GTS Wheels from USA: http://www.ecci6000.com/consumerhome.htm Cost me a fortune, but no better wheel/pedal combo available.

Good fun anyway.

ditto, I am adding another pair of Corsair 512's to give me 2Gb of dual DDR mem, think it will help a heap with my games.

yip. FEAR, BF2 and all future GFX intensive games will greatly benefit from 2GB of RAM nowadays. Remember the Corsairs are nicely overclockable! :D

I have an original nVidia ti4200 AGP8x, it's an nVidia made card not made by Gainward or Albatron etc.

Still going very well, I bought it from a mate last year for 300 notes.
