What HDMI cable?

You saw a difference on a digital cable?...

You are trying to con yourself.

Check out this webpage I found.

It's a little too revealing. Basically, it says that if you want a 2m or shorter cable (for a PS3), and 1080p data rates, then get the cheapest hdmi cable you can find that has a guarantee, even if it costs R10 and is only hdmi v1.0.

It's when you need lengths of greater than 10m where quality comes into play.

When people say "It's digital. It either works or it doesn't." they're not wrong, but they're not right either. It really depends on the cable length and the warranty.

In your case, you want a cable under 2 meters, so get the cheapest one available with a warranty. There are cables for R25 online. I've even purchased quite a few to resell to those who're to lazy to do their own research.

Cables with warranties when it's digital... Might as well get a Monster cable (sarcasm). 10m or greater... Use ethernet.
