What is your preferred computer operating system?

Been using Windows since version 3.1 (on floppy disks). I will die using it I imagine. Can't imagine changing to anything else at this point.

If all Windows games + programs ran natively on Linux I would jump in a heartbeat but unfortunately that will never happen.

Extremely... conflicted.

Been using MacOS for more than a year now, after having used Windows for my entire life.

I enjoy the Macbook to a large extent but I don't know whether that's because MacOS is good or Apple Silicon is good or whether having a native *Nix style environment is what's good.

I still prefer Windows as an OS but won't go back to it because the laptops are generally slow(er) and loud(er)... And I'm not going to force myself to use WSL2 when the native *Nix experience on MacOS/Linux is better.

Linux offers enough alternatives / clones / better s/w these days, hardly ever touch Windows anymore. Far more like Windows to use now as well, close to good enough there.

Same. Especially for work I have too many apps that won't work on Linux. That said - windows really irritates me once a year and had its minor annoyances but the rest of the time I'm fine with it. Still on 10.

MacOS is just much much nicer with less issues. Perhaps Windows 12 will be better again.
