Laptop at work, desktop at home. I'm on the road a lot, so the laptop helps a lot.

Macbook - love it. Best laptop I have ever had bar none. Windows apps? Runs in Parallels with zero issues.

Of course, I do prefer consoles for gaming, so if you are a gamer its a no-go.

I dont have a primary I have various laptops/tv's and mobile devices that I use for different things.
For general browsing I use my phone and then take out a laptop if I need more hardware.

I dont use my desktop much anymore though.

I couldn’t do what I do without a laptop. With it’s crisp 15” display, strong hardware, industry leading trackpad, responsive backlit keyboard, great battery life, crisp audio, and most of all portability, it’s such a great computing environment.

Being honest I said my phone.

Sure it's not my "Primary" work or play device but it is used for both and then some.

Asus T100 used as 10" Tablet - Windows 10 does the tasks for me.

It's my work laptop, only because I have no personal time to use my desktop

Desktop. It's impossible to get a laptop screen-keyboard configured so that you can use them for lengthy periods without becoming a hunchback.

Laptop for both home and work. Can't see myself ever owning a desktop pc again. Laptop is just less clutter.
