Which device do you use for most of your daily computing tasks?

Which device do you use for most of your daily computing tasks?

Kind of interesting question...for work, I use a laptop because that what my employer allows me to use (but, by getting a docking station, I've basically turned that into a desktop).

At home, because I have choice, I use my desktop most.

I intensely dislike laptops. Not once have I come across one that was particularly nice to use, incl. the current gen Macbook Pro. Small display, weak hardware, trackpad, chiclet keyboard, battery concerns, crap audio etc. It's such a poor computing environment.

Desktop PC and a tablet are the way to go imo.

Kinda difficult lugging a desktop, screen, keyboard, etc around with you when you need to see clients and work on premises. It's also nice having your gaming device with you when you go on holiday...

I have a gaming desktop at home, but it's been relegated to being a Plex server. I do most work (dev) and gaming on my primary laptop (17" MSI GS70), while I do lighter work (admin, proposals, etc) and casual gaming on my 13" Macbook Pro. I honestly have very little use for my desktop and even less use for a tablet.

I think until the newer, more powerful laptops come down a fair bit in price, desktops will remain primary devices.

Desktop for the multi screen setup if not for that my laptop would easy suffice

Laptop with docking station at work, another laptop for private

10" Dell Tablet docked with 17" monitor, keyboard and mouse. Convenient and easy to use on the go.

Laptop at work,desktop at home.
And another laptop at home for if I feel like working.

What did you vote for? I'd call that a desktop :p

Can't vote on mobile.

I spend maybe a quarter of my time away from the office so having a small tablet running windows 10 with a proper docking station at my desk is the best. The pen makes for easy note taking using OneNote, battery life is decent and have a spare battery just in case.
