What is your view on UFOs?

All jokes aside, I think there is a lot more to this 'phenomenon' than we can ever glean from sightings, conspiracy theories and unprovable testimonies.
There is no doubt that the descriptions of the objects in flight defy virtually all the laws of physics. In addition, no human could survive the G forces of an object doing a 90° turn at Mach 10.
So - we are left with speculation and best guesses.
It is my opinion that these objects are going to be playing a greater role in the affairs of humankind as time progresses. One source of the most accurately fulfilled prophecies to date (the Bible) does mention 'signs and wonders in the heavens'.
The New Age movement claims that their 'extraterrestrial friends' will remove a bunch of fundamentalists from the earth to allow for global peace.
In the past decade sci-fi movies have topped box office earnings.
Currently a far larger percentage of 'educated first worlders' believe that the salvation of mankind will come from another planet rather than from some divine intervention.
We are being groomed for some sort of 'intervention', that is for sure.
Just what form that will take and how each of us will respond depends on our own world-view and belief system.

Wow! Really? The Bible? In that case why don't you just claim that UFO's are Jesus mobiles in beta testing waiting for the the second coming so that God/Jesus/Holy Ghost can transport all the deluded souls to heaven for eternity.

The fact that there is only ever blurry visual evidence makes me highly skeptical. Yes, there is likely other life in the universe but space and time are so vast it is highly unlikely that two civilisations would ever intersect, at least given our current knowledge of physics.

The only recent sighting that did interest me, though, was this:

 
About 40 years ago I saw something in Germiston that I still wonder about. I was a teenager and lying in bed one night when a very bright light flashed through the garden from above. I went outside to take a look and there was a very huge triangular or kinda flying wing shaped craft moving in absolute silence through the night sky. I would guess it was only about 100m up. It looked like it was searching for something with a very bright search light shining from the front. It moved away over the trees and I never saw or heard of it again. I would estimate it was much longer than 150m and made no sound at all. In the dark I couldn't see what colour it was or what it was made of. No one saw it but me

It's aliens coming to impregnate our young maidens - so that daughters can say, it was an alien, dad, he hypnotised me.

I think there is a very good likelihood that Extra Terrestrial life does exist, taken the sheer size of the universe.

I do however think that there are very few advanced life forms out there, for all we know we are the most advanced of the lot.
 
Hard to say guys but from my own 2 personal sightings many years ago I'd have to say more likely alien craft as speeds & angles etc flying no human pilot would be able to maneuver unless really advanced/ sophisticated autopilot but we dont have the tech currently to fly so silently especially not 27 years ago (1st incident i experienced in presence of my sister)
 
I think they are man made and are what the Blackbird was to us back in the day as in a black project that nobody knew about not even the the people at the top in governments. These pilots and their aircraft are being tested against this new tech (Drones) by whom ever on earth to test their new black project. If Aliens visit earth we will all definitely know about it when it happens.

wonder what happened to those?

as quite a few UFO's over GP can be attributed to that airship.
 
Personally , i believe they are a mixture of various phenomena:
1- some are simply misidentified man made objects
2- some are craft not of this earth
3- some are actual life forms that our current scientific understanding is simply incapable of identifying, and therefore unable to measure or record adequatetly.
4-some are natural , yet extremely rare phenomena, that remain unrecorded and unrecognisable due to their rarity.
 
Unidentified flying object?

Something going through the air that nobody can recognize. Once the object can be identified, it is no longer an Unidentified flying object
