Need some recommendations from the community please!

Have to buy a laptop for an employee.

Wishlist:

17" screen (can compromise to 16" or 15" if need be)
SDD
Has to have a numpad
Windows based (no Macs)
Has to be able to connect a second screen

Not too concerned about brand. He is the accountant and will mostly work on Excel and SAP.

Trying to go cheap as possible for something that will last 5 years (for depreciation), but max R15k.

Won't purchase anything from Evetech.

Any recommendations with links to where to buy appreciated.

Good call on the 17inch screens, although I am not an Accountant, I work on huge spreadsheets, and you wont believe how time consuming it is scrolling from one side of the spreadsheet. Someone somewhere decided that all laptops screens must be as small as possible.

Enough RAM and decent CPU to do the number crunching.

Not sure about the R15k. It might be possible. But I think R20k is probably more realistic.

The better basic options is 20 to 23k with 25 to 27 your upper tier.

Love you eyes and go ips 90hz or more on 15" at least.

There's also wootware.co.za but I can second nucleus.

Just over R16 000 after shipping and fees.
