What makes gamers aggressive?

What is a Tower Diver?

In Dota/2 when you/someone is desperate for a kill they go beyond the enemy tower which in 99.9999% of the time ,the attacker ends up dying.

- Clan stackers

- People who pick noob ass heroes and think they are good because they are fking everyone up.

- Team members who pick 2 junglers (I kid you not)

Thx for the feedback.

I would say that the frustration in gaming has taught me endless patience and introspection. I just enjoy the game whether it is a sure loss or not.

Unfortunately most gamers don't understand the definition of "game" and get so emotional when they don't win that they never learn anything. They don't spend their effort on what they can control.

That - or maybe they are 10 years old :D

People calling "idiot awpers" + "you are such a noob for killing me with that AWP". START USING SMOKE NADES. It even says that in the bloody hints when joining a CS:GO server...

You're probably a ****ing camper too if you like AWPing so much:p

Lag, base campers, and twats who mess up the comms line with noise and unrelated schit talk...

There is nothing worse than queueing for a game and eventually you load in and see a clan on the other side. 5 stack. THey inevitably end up raping you and then give cocky comments like "gg - ez" or something like that. It blows my mind.

What did happen once though - played vs a 5 stack (me and 2 mates) and we ROMPED them. Something like 45 - 12 or something ridiculous. We queued immediately after again and landed up playing them again. :D

Klapped them again. Was funny as ****.

What do Russians do in Dota 2 that's so bad? I'd like to know seeing as how they're mentioned a million times in this thread :wtf:

It has to be experienced to be properly understood. Usually they do the following:

  1. join SA (English language) servers then promptly refuse to speak English (note: not "can't" speak English, simply "refuse" to)
  2. proceed to play with all the skill of a brainless 3 year old disregarding teamwork and common sense (e.g. runs almost gleefully into death over and over and disregards all team member's requests for help)
  3. when advice and suggestions are given by teammates on how to avoid the repetitive game-ruining death-spree the Russian will suddenly proceed to then use English so that you can understand the 5 minute stream of swear words and insults you are about to receive
  4. as the team is placed further onto the backfoot with more Russian deaths the Russian will then begin blaming everyone else for the upcoming loss with accompanying swearing and insults aimed at the entire team
  5. then when the game is looking like a certain loss the Russian will simply leave the game, abandoning his team

I don't know if there is something in the water over in Russia but their dota players are rude, obnoxious and unwilling to work in a team. The only Russian speaking people I've met in dota2 that are decent people were Ukrainians. This behaviour isn't restricted to the kids either. At least you can understand this behaviour coming from children. The guys that do this are old enough to know better.

Thank goodness I never seem to have Russian issues on console. I suppose this must tie in with the whole master race thing :p

^this

It's a game, and and should be treated as such. When I get frustrated with a game, I take a moment to decide whether it is still worth it to keep on playing, or is there maybe another game I can switch to that I can get more enjoyment from.

I play games for relaxation, not for extra stress. That's why I quit Dota and online gaming in general a while back. I found that I enjoy quality single player titles a lot more than playing online with a bunch of rude strangers (read : Russians).

Also, *inability to master a game*? Really?

Methinks they didn't choose their candidates correctly.
