What phone for daughter?

I can now upgrade but want to give it to my 16 year old daughter.
Which phone should I get for her at R129.00 max?
She wants to use it for music and have at least a 2MP camera.
I know zilch about phones. Please help.

@marco: Women/girls tend to appreciate phones that are very slim so that they can fit into tight jeans.

Thats my phone and its excellent, if you put in a larger memory card (supports up to 2GB) it can store quite a few mp3's. The 2MP camera is good, for the price I think its an excellent phone.

Obvious choice would be the Sony Ericsson W880i or K810i...

W880i is a music orientated phone with a 2 megapixel camera!
K810i is a camera orientated phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera (Awesome quality picks) also able to play lots of music if you buy extra memory card.

Check out GSMArena.com for more info on them... Also on a MyCall 100 contract you should get them for about R100 pm
 
You did not say which service provider you are with and how sophisticated the phone must be, MTN Yellow Trader advertises the SE W810i for R49 pm on My Call 100. W810i has 2 mp camera and is a music orientated phone.

It just might fit your pocket.

Just got back from the mall.
Checked out only those discussed here.
Nokia 6500 classic. My first choice at R129.00 pm
SE w880i. My second choice at R99.00 pm
SE k810i. Salesman never heard of it.
The others discussed here are not available anymore.

Hot damn!!! I've had that phone for almost a year and a half at MTN and I've been paying R140 all this time.

Never heard of it?! Crazy man. The k810 is the best on the list, for sure :)
 
I have one in my pocket, so the salesman is an idiot... Its the upgraded k800i and came out just before the 5 megapixel k850i...
