I can't sleep without;
1. AC on or FAN with a cool room AND the noise.
2. If no AC/FAN noise then a background noise app.
3. Soft lighting, preferably on the floor level. Not very bright but i cannot sleep in a full dark room, not happening lol.
I believe, but never checked, there are underlying issues to people who need noise and light in the room when sleeping. I'm just worried about finding out why lol...This is always a weird one for me. Like I mentioned before I can sleep pretty much anywhere if I need to. No hang ups, but given the choice, I want the room as dark as possible. No ambient light, no nightlights, blockout curtains or shutter, and with a temp of around 12-16 degrees. That’s when I get the absolute best sleep.
Um... a pillow... sometimes.We all have our little sleep rituals.
Like blocking out light, drowning out noise, or getting extra cozy before bed. Some people can sleep anywhere, while others need the perfect setup. I’m curious what everyone here actually uses to get a good night’s sleep.
Nix, niks, nada, nothing. Those things are all just BS rubbish! A bed, pillow, and blankets in winter that is it.We all have our little sleep rituals.

I almost wanted to say the Chad of sleepers but then I saw "A bed, pillow, and blankets in winter that is it."Nix, niks, nada, nothing. Those things are all just BS rubbish! A bed, pillow, and blankets in winter that is it.
Why couldn't you empty the water and refill in the apartment?Slept on a water bed for years, best sleep you could wish for. Moulds to your body, set to ideal temperature. Got rid of it when I moved into a complex in 2023 because my bedroom's upstairs and that thing weighed A LOT.
200x152x30 of water plus the wooden base, so I didn't want to risk it. Also new bedrooms 4x3 and that bed was yuge.
Same but been thinking of adding another layer beneath...still some light bleeding in around the sides.blockout curtains
