So who still uses Source Safe? Myabe TFS, Subversion.... Has anyone tries TFS 2010 and if so how much better is it?

Beta 2 is ariving next week as far as I know. I will be downloading it then. Its not worth it to test the Beta 1 of TFS because you can't upgrade to Beta 2 or a production release. Beta 2 is however considered to be a production quality system.

The biggest change I like about TFS 2010 is that you can install it on client PC's also! This would be great since you don't always need the big setup with WSS and reporting services.

TFS 2010 is moving more towards replacing SourceSafe than its predicessors since TFS 2005/2008 was aimed at the corporate sectors.

Well that is good news. We are using TFS 2005 and I find it lacks quite a bit.

Yes TFS 2005 was quite lacking, but TFS 2008 was a major improvement over the 2005 release. I can't wait for the 2010 bits to be released cause I really want to test it and see the changes.
