I only take Whey protein and a Preworkout including some omega 3 pills as a vitamin.

I don't really take too many supplements and also stopped with Pure creatine as it somehow acts up with my skin but my preworkout does have like around 1gram creatine in it which is not bad.

Whole foods only.No supplementation.
Wait, did you start this thread on sagamer also?

I stopped taking creatine because I was concerned it might be causing my hair to thin out.

Other than that, I take:
Omega 3 fish oil capsules
Zinc
Magnesium
SA supplements incinerate fat burner

I have 2 protein shakes every day, using a mix of Nutritech whey and nutritech casein.

Every morning, I mix 3 teaspoons of psyllium husks, 1 teaspoon of ground flaxseed and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with one large glass of water, and down that, followed by another large glass of water. I have another 2 glasses of water mixed with psyllium husk later in the day. I add apple cider vinegar to that if I know I am eating carbs afterwards (say I am going to a friend's house for a beer)

Whey Isolate (post)
Casein (recovery)
L Glutamine (post + recovery)
Creatine (post)
Omega 3

Supps are to supplement your nutrition, not replace it. Use high quality supps, or don't use anything.

I don't trust 90% of the manufacturers out there with the rubbish they put in their products.

My buying philosophy is simple, the supp must contains only itself and a flavouring/sweetener. Nothing else. If there's more than 3 ingredients in the bottle, don't use it.

EDIT:
Also, I stay far away from any pre workouts, fat burners, testosterone boosters, etc.

Hey man and no.

I also do think whole foods are good enough but sometimes hitting that protein is not easy

I also take in 2 protein shakes (biogen) might change to another brand or stick with this. What's the husk for??

Is this a bodybuilding supps thread?

Also taking the fish oil pills, not sure exactly what it's doing for me but I'm sure it's good lol

I take a Preworkout cause it really helps me, I do cycle off now and then

Do some research on oxydised lipids and stop taking those nasty fish pills.

Fiber. Psyllium husk is almost pure fiber.

I, uh, need fiber supplements. Like badly. I don't know why, constipation is something I've always struggled with, and protein shakes make it worse.

LoL, supplements are a sham.

Rather have a proper dieet.

No I just a general question ,apologies if it's in the wrong section
Nah was just wondering :).

I rotate these / as needed:

The Real Thing Bone Revolution 1 - good absorbable form of calcium, trace minerals, vit D etc.
Vitamin K2 (MK4 & MK-7) - use this in conjunction with the above mainly for bone / teeth health.

The Real Thing Chlorella
The Real Thing Green Powder

Zinc
Magnesium
Vitamin C
Cats Claw
Artichoke leaf extract
Reishi mushroom

A few herbal products on & off...Bacopa, Lemon Balm, Passionflower, Albiza, Schizandra.

A few nootropics.

Whey Shake on the days I know I didn't hit my target intake.

Omega 3&6 Capsules.

Some days I take a pre-workout. I'd say it happens 2/7 days of the week. Mostly on days I was very busy at work and need that extra oomph to get going with my workout.

Why do you bother taking Omega 6?

You shouldn't take it actually. The two important parts about Omega 3 and Omega 6 are that you take Omega 3 in the right form (you need EPA and DHA, both of which are only found in animal sources) and that you get the balance of Omega 3 to Omega 6 right. It should be something like 1:2.5.

The problem is that because Omega 6 is found in almost everything you eat that contains fat, most people eat far too much Omega 6 relative to the amount of Omega 3 they consume. Peanut butter, sunflower oil and olive oil, to name a few, all have significant quantities of omega 6.
