what tablet should i choose? :/

Hi..
Well seeing that iPad is still expensive(probably will stay as well)..

Which android tablet should a person then go for?i seen some reviews on the Xoom 2 and galaxy tab2 10.1 ..Xoom 2 seems to be a good pick?

So need help ..or is there a better option on a android tablet?

What's your budget and what features are most important for you (3G, screen quality, etc.)?
 
I regard the best two tablets on the market as the Asus TF-700T (Full HD, 10") and the Samsung 7.7" P6800 3G (AMOLED).

But both of them are expensive.

My old Motorola Xoom was pretty good, but 1280x800 is now too low-res for a 10" display (OK for 7").
 
First decide what you want out of a tablet. If you want a pretty locked down tablet save more money and buy a iPad. If you are looking for something you can play with without any restrictions get a Android.

Tosh and rot.

I reckon you might be best off importing a Nexus 7 though. Among the 10" tablets iPad2 is still great value @ R4000 comparative to other models on the market. But for $200 + shipping fees you won't get better value packed into one unit than the Nexus.
 
Hmmm well mainly for browsing the net(blogs ect) checking my price list on the go..a lil movies and music as well..

The New iPad really grips me with its smooth and nippy hardware an OS ..but like i said their over R400pm..lowest..

Then there is FNB but i dont have a account with them..plus they told me its not a week and you have an iPad..takes debit orders and your pay to go through 1st ect .. :/..then again whats the ipad 2 pricing atm?or should i wait?
 
Personally I don't like the itunes shuffle you have to do to watch movies but if you don't mind it then a ipad 2 would be a good idea. If you just want straight forward movies etc then get a Galaxy since the 10" just got the JB update.
 
Why don't you look for a second hand ipad 2, it will meet all your needs and is affordable.
Try Gumtree there are plenty.

Tablets are still consumption toys to me, dont get me wrong I use mine everyday but it's not worth 3k+

Would that be wise? seeing its electronic and second hand...
 
I'm Samsung Galaxy all the way! Its easy to transfer files to and from (great when you are seeing clients and want to give them the price list or other info , you can simply use your galaxy as a flash drive). Its so much more 'open and accessible' on android. My dad has an Ipad and I just find it a great bother to get around. Its a very personal opinion though - some people are just apple people :D
