What to play?

I currently don't have a home, so I'm staying in b&b in Cape Town and Johannesburg, as you can imagine, this gets a bit boring, so I'm hoping someone can suggest a game that'd play comfortable on my Travelmate 6460 (1.8Ghz Dual Core, 2GB Ram, ATI Mobility Radeon X1300, Vista Ultimate (performs better than XP on here)).

It can be an online game too. It just needs to be able to play games smoothly and comfortably. :D
 
Depends on the type of game you're into.

FPS

You should be able to play BF2 or even BF2142 on that rig. Even COD4 should be ok. UT3 as well but I wouldn't suggest it.

RPG

The usual suspects. WOW, Guild Wars etc.

Agreed. I personally prefer BF2 over BF2142 as well. Also, you can pick up BF2 now for less than R100 at retailers. Be prepared to download a big patch tho.

Definately agreed!! I played it at my parents online. Awesome fun. If only Telkom would find my complex worthy of ADSL I'd be able to play it every night. :(
 
Hmmm.... Sounds like I can play a lot :p

Now to decide what... excuse the lag in my response... was down in Cape Town for two days.
