Does anyone know? Is it some awesome new broadband service coming to my area, or just a fancy streetlight :(

Fancy streetlight. :)

The round shroud on top probably has 3 120⁰ sector antennas behind it. No idea which of our cellular networks it is though.

Anyways you can go and check what network's tower it is by reading on the box next to the street light. It should have a emergency number for the specific network and a site ID.

The one near my place has no labels or markings on it yet - I've been to check :-) Don't think it's fully commissioned yet though.
 
They installed 2 close to my complex as well, I have checked and don't see any markings except a number on the manhole.
 
One of those was installed near where I say too - just a bit shorter than that one and painted green.

There are no visible company markings on it - but I suspect it may have something to do with Telkom.

The one close to me is also painted green, do you stay in Wilgeheuwel?
