What was your first car?

First and last car ever. The Golf one. Useless pos with no power steering.

Useless is a bit harsh. Basic, yes. But mine gets me where I need to go, and had very little issues with it. Mine's a '96 1300. Doesn't even have a rev counter.

Haha, we had a blue one of those. Moer that thing was impossible to pedal, that's all I recall.

I bought a Hyundai Elantra - 1998 model, in 2007. Except that the car I test drove had no problems, but when I picked it up a week later there were massive issues. Big lesson learned there was not to buy second hand from small resellers and rather go with guys who have been around for years.
