What was your school motto?

In hindsight, both high schools I attended had very practical mottos:
  1. Voor in die wapad brand 'n lig
  2. Daar's werk
 
1. Conjuncti Crescimus
2. Vacta Non Verba
3. Handhaaf en Bou
 
First Primary School - Don't know and I can't even find a clear image of their badge online.
Second Primary School - "Scientiam Petamus" ("Let us seek knowledge")
High School - ''Ikusasa Ngelethu'' ("The future is ours")
 
one primary school I had to google: Laborate et Create
high school: Semper Altior

meaningful? I couldn't remember the one so I'm gonna go ahead and say no it was not meaningful
the second one seems to have stuck for decades after the fact, so perhaps it was somewhat meaningful, then again they also worked the motto into the lyrics of the school anthem so you had your memory refreshed on a weekly basis whether you cared or not

1st high school" Fortune favours the bold
2nd high school: Not sure, could not find online
3rd high school: Honor. Modestia. Sapientia (Honour, modesty, wisdom)
