Like the ones pictured. I remember infomercials from the late 90s for these things. They looked so cool and I always wanted to try them out but never did.

Anyone still have any?

Any good?

I used to love those things, never tried them though,

ever remember somebody showing how they can be used when the surface used on was almost vertical.

Makro has, my wife is trying to convince me to buy for us ever since I said I wanted a set as kid and never got it. We might buy this weekend.

I will post from the pics from the hospital soon after we bought it. Unfit, overweight and roller blades will be a dangerous combination.

No way! Do you have a link? I can't find them...

its all about balance, and using some common sense, IE if you practice in a park on grass, as low speeds, your unlikely to get hurt.

one doesnt just start skating on a street, and with traffic moving around you.

you start small, and graduate up from that.

I've got quite a large yard, will start there. If I decide to do it

It died when sony invented the play station. And roller blades is probably the least cool skating sport thing that a person can do.

I had a pair when I was a kid was good fun had a few hills to go down in my hood, nearly killed myself a few times

I'll take some pics of it when I'm in the shop and post, with prices. It that the same thing than those I posted? Only the wheels are a bit different.

you obviously had caring parents:ROFL:

here son, skate in the street with all the cars...
If think of the crap I did as a kid it's a bloody miracle I got out of it alive. My kids will not be allowed half the **** I did.

My 5 yo for example wants a skateboard, not happening.
