You're quite the dab hand with oats. Are you vegetarian? Seems like I never see you cook meat dishes, so probably. My breakfast can stand to be jazzed up a bit, I almost invariably eat a bowl of instant oats at work. It's barely palatable.

Vegetarian yeah (I eat honey and cheese occasionally).
The oats always seem to rear their head in winter. What I usually do is overnight oats where you just soak 'em in some water/milk overnight and eat them like that in the morning. They work really well when soaked with a Tbsp or two of chia seeds. In the morning I'll stir through some combo of cinnamon, nuts, cocoa, berries, dates, seeds, spices, honey etc. I eat it just like that, but you could easily heat it up very quickly as there's not much cooking to do - they're already soft from soaking. Thing I like about oats is it's easy to prep and easy to add things to to make the dish a whole lot more nutritious (and tasty at the same time). My sister started the baked oats thing for her kid and it is also a nice way to do them. The toasted chocolate sweet potato one was great...perfect winter breakfast
